The Sindh government has finally started online classes for the students of schools and colleges. Secretary Education Sindh issued a notification in this regard on Friday, saying that online classes will cater to students of grade 6 to grade 12.
According to the notification, online classes will be launched with the help of UNICEF and Microsoft, while 75 Master Trainers will train government teachers for online classes. Moreover, IT experts are also being hired to facilitate online sessions.

In a notification issued on conducting online classes in government schools, the Education Secretary has asked the directors of all districts to provide data of teachers and students by June 17.

It should be noted that educational institutions across the country have been closed for the last two months owing to coronavirus outbreak. Due to the prevailing situation, the government has also decided to promote students of up to class 12 without any exams.
