Legendary batsman, Mohammad Yousuf, believes that Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, will be back to scoring runs in the next series after he failed in the Test series against Zimbabwe. Yousuf believes that it was just a blip and the fans should not be worried at all.

Babar had a magnificent tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe until the Test series, he scored centuries in the ODI and T20I series against South Africa before carrying his form in the limited-overs series against Zimbabwe. Babar only managed to score 2 runs in the two innings he played in the two-match Test series, getting out on a duck in the first Test match.
Yousuf believes that Babar will bounce back soon and said that he just hit poor form at the wrong time which can happen with any batsman in the world.

“Sometimes it happens in cricket. When you are playing cricket on a regular basis, you get some innings where you don’t score a lot of runs. This does not mean that there is a problem. It is a part of the game. Being in and out of form is just part of it. His drills and practices are phenomenal so he will definitely score in the next series,” Yousaf said.
The former middle-order batsman said that Babar has a great work ethic and he practices hard each day, which has made him one of the best batsmen in the world. Yousuf added that Babar is a technically sound batsman and if he continues to work hard, he will be rewarded for his performances by the Almighty.
