The tipster has not revealed any reasons for the delay, but it most likely has to do with the shortage of components caused by the global chip shortage. The issue has plagued several launches lately, causing months and even half a year’s worth of delays. The Galaxy S21 FE is also said to be delayed for the same reason.
Coming back to the AMD-powered Exynos, this chip is going to bring the same RDNA 2 graphics as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Samsung has said that this will allow the flagship chipset to support ray tracing and variable rate shading capabilities.
As per rumors, this flagship chip will likely feature on the next Galaxy S or Note series device.
