Alongside its latest foldables, Samsung has unveiled its latest TWS earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2. This pair of earbuds is one of the lightest to exist with a new design and active noise cancellation enabled by six microphones.

The speaker on these earbuds is split into two portions, a woofer, and a tweeter. This ensures clear high notes as well as deep atmospheric lows. The weight of these earbuds has been reduced to 5 grams per bud, and the case only adds 41 grams.
There are three microphones present in each bud which enable active noise cancellation while listening to music and also “impressive call quality”. The Active Noise Cancellation can block up to 98% of the noise around you, but there is also an Ambient Mode in case you want to hear your surroundings.
A dedicated Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) powered by AI makes sure the microphones only pick your voice in a noisy environment. The earphones also have machine learning solutions such as adapting to external sounds like traffic, wind, emergency vehicles, etc.
The earbuds can be paired with the Galaxy Wearable app which lets you adjust noise control and set up an equalizer. There is also an Auto Switch feature that lets you seamlessly switch between different Galaxy devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, etc.
The battery capacity is the same as the Galaxy Buds Pro at 472 mAh, though Samsung doesn’t mention battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 will be available in Graphite, White, Oliver Green, and Lavender colors for $150.
