PFF Announces Schedule for Pakistan Premier Football League

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the schedule for the 13th Pakistan Premier Football League. The league is scheduled to take place from 14 August at Multan.

Twelve teams from across the country will take part in the league, including defending champions, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), Karachi United, Pakistan Army, Sui Southern Gas Company, Pakistan Air Force, PCCA, Muslim Club Chaman, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan WAPDA, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, Lyallpur FC, and Huma Club Islamabad.

The competition will kick off with a doubleheader on 14 August, with Sui Southern Gas Company facing Pakistan WAPDA and Pakistan Army going head to head against Pakistan Air Force in the second encounter of the opening day.

A meeting between the managers of the twelve teams and the officials of PFF took place at PFF headquarters on Wednesday, where the structure, rules, and regulations of the league were announced.

According to the format, all the teams will face each other twice in the season. Teams will be awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw, and the team at the top of the league at the end of the season will be crowned as champions, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to the second-tier of Pakistan Football League.
