Pakistan Post Office has been officially confirmed as a delivery partner of the e-commerce giant, Amazon, as per the official handout.
In lieu of the ground-breaking achievement for the country, the Director General Post Office has directed concerned officials and stakeholders to finalize all pending preparations to integrate their services to Amazon’s global platform as soon as possible.

Through a circular, the Post Office has designated the appointment of senior officers from 9 cities of Pakistan for due facilitation of export-worthy products from local traders and industry partners. Added to this, the circular directs the Post Office to sign agreements with front companies stationed abroad that facilitate Amazon’s supply network.
Furthermore, the Post Office will prioritize an approved list of venues for constructing warehouses in 9 cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Islamabad and Karachi. Facilitation centres will be set up in the 9 aforesaid cities by 15th June, subject to regulations as per the directions of the government.
