Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has recorded the highest ever sales in the history of Pakistan’s Auto industry in a month. The company has closed July 2021 with over 15,200 vehicle sales.
Reports suggest that the increase in sales is attributed to the reduction in the rate of interest over car loans, as well as the recent reduction in the prices of vehicles.

It has also been added that the Japanese automaker is facing little to no competition in the Pakistani auto market, which is one of the main reasons for the huge figures.
That theory is proved by the fact that, currently, PSMC holds a lead over other manufacturers with a 66 percent share in the automotive sector and PSMC has sold 37,730 units of its Alto in the 2020-21 fiscal year.

In June, PSMC witnessed a rather huge MoM sales decline of 39 percent as it had sold only 5,106 units during that month. However, the slump in sales had been due to the limited number of units produced because of the COVID-19 induced challenges worldwide.
Sources have reported that the company is bumping up the production to meet the rising demand for its vehicles and that PSMC will continue to enjoy the largest market share in Pakistan as long as it is the only company that produces a variety of small city cars.
