ITP Restore Online Appointment Service for Driver’s License

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has decided to reinstate the online appointment system for the issuance of driver’s licenses to the public, as per specific instructions by the IG Islamabad, Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman.

The driver’s license issuance service had been temporarily suspended due to the deadly upsurge of the pandemic across Pakistan. However, while ensuring compliance with the COVID-19 preventive standard operating procedures (SOPs), the department has decided to restart the service earlier than anticipated.

Furthermore, the ITP’s driver’s license branch will resume its operations from Monday, 31 May 2021. A limited number of applicants will be serviced by means of the online appointment system which will start accepting bookings from Saturday, 29 May 2021.
