The Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mehmood, has announced a new policy for the holding of examinations as per the updated guidelines of the National Command Operation Center (NCOC).
The decision was taken in a meeting of the Interprovincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC), which also concluded with the agreement that the board examinations will be held after 15 June. It was also decided to prioritize the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations to allow candidates to apply for admissions to universities in a timely manner.

Regarding professional examinations, Minister Mehmood explained in a tweet that the “NCOC has allowed holding of professional exams/tests etc. Please apply to Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Islamabad with details of exam centres, number of students and SOPs to be followed. If all arrangements are satisfactory permission will be given promptly”.
