Yasir Hussain is a famous and talented Pakistani host, actor, comedian and director. He fetched instant fame from his debut feature film “Karachi Say Lahore.” Fans also praised his second feature film “Lahore Say Aagay.” which was with Saba Qamar. Yasir Hussain has appeared in notable television projects including Shadi Mubarak and Baaghi. Currently, he began direction. “Koel” and “Aik Thi Laila” are his notable projects as director. He recently hosted a few Eid Shows for Hum TV. Yasir Hussain is happily married to Iqra Aziz and has an adorable son Kabir Hussain. Yasir Hussain loves acting but he is not happy with the kind of work actors are being offered. A few months ago, Yasir Hussain also said that he would never want his son to join the showbiz industry.
Lately, he appeared in Voice Of America’s short chat session where he replied to the question about his previous statement about seeing son’s career in acting or not.
Talking about it, he said, “it isn’t hypocrisy if I would not let my son to do acting, also, there is a difference between your wish and the reality. I think that there is no work for the actors in this industry. I said it because, if you are a surgeon and aren’t allowed to do an operation, it is useless to be a doctor/surgeon. If you are not being given a good opportunity as an actor, then it is your death as an actor. Now, we see actors like Sajid Hassan and Ayub Khosa are not being given work.
