Aadat is a song that brought a revolution to the music scene of Pakistan. The musicians once again started gathering around and making unparalleled music after Aadat got the fame that it did. The song by the band Jal gave us great artists like Atif Aslam, Goher Mumtaz and Farhan Saeed. Big stars came out of that music scene and they are still ruling our hearts. The recent rather in the country is Kaifi Khalil’s Kahani Suno 2.0. It is a song that has been trending all over the media. People love it and Goher Mumtaz had some interesting comparisons to make about Kahani Suno’s success.
Goher Mumtaz posted some time ago that Kahani Suno is probably the only song in the past few decades to come close to the success of Aadat. This is what he said:
Many Aadat fans were offended as they thought Aadat was a phenomenon while some thought Kahani Suno has a fan following of its own. Goher Mumtaz was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai where he was asked that why he made this comparison.
Goher said that Aadat is a song that was made with no money to shoot a video. They created a song and uploaded it on the internet. It later became a huge phenomenon which no one has been able to cross. He said that this is the case with Kaifi’s song as well which was shot with a very simple video and it still managed to win hearts the world over.
