Waris Baig is one of the biggest musical voices of the last few decades. He has sung hundreds of songs for Pakistani films and his voice is loved by millions. He has a distinct tone and his songs carry a specific vibe. He has also performed live and he has received multiple awards for his career in music. Many songs that Waris Baig sung were copied by Bollywood and he has seen this happening throughout his career.
Waris Baig shared that Mahesh Bhatt also copied one of his songs for his film Murder. His song was coped but later on Mahesh Bhatt apologized to him openly. He said that he did not know that it was Waris’s song a Pakistani artist had given him the particular song. Many of his songs have been copied this way.

He also shared that he does not feel any animosity towards people who have copied his work. Nowadays YouTube sends strikes to anyone who copies any music. Back in the day there was no such system and a lot of his work was copied in Bollywood.
