Ushna Shah is one of the top leading ladies of the Pakistani drama industry. Making her debut with Bashar Momin, Ushna has not looked back and she appears as the leading heroine in all her projects. She is right now the main face of two big dramas, Ghair and Aye Ishq e Junoon. She was speaking to Saleem Mairaj on the recent show she hosts and she spoke about the realities of being a Pakistani drama heroine.
Ushna Shah said that being a heroine is a very difficult job. She compared her work to the work of the supporting cast and revealed how tough it gets for the main face of the show.
She said that the heroine has to give 75-80 days to the drama as she will be in every other scene. She is treated like a showpiece in our dramas and many a times she just has to sit and cry in the scenes. Thus being a heroine is a very tough job. she said that according to her many supporting actors get paid far more than she is.
