Laila Wasti is a beautiful and talented artist. She has been through a lot in her life but her commitment to her work has never faltered. We have seen her in many good dramas like Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay and Khaie and she manages to grab eyeballs through her good acting and presence every time.
Laila Wasti has done mother characters in many dramas now. She even played Mahira Khan’s mother in Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay. We have seen many younger women being cast in some senior characters where they do not fit sensibly. She was last paired opposite Faysal Quraishi and that was an age-appropriate pairing that people liked as well.
In an interview with Vasay Chaudhary, Laila Wasti said that she does not mind being cast as a mother of many older actors. She is fine with it as long as her character is meaty but being cast opposite actors who are way older than her as husband and wife is not what she likes. She actually prefers characters where she is playing a widow in such cases.
