Sultana Siddiqui is a legend of the Pakistani entertainment industry. The President of Hum Network, she started her career as a director/producer on PTV and she has given many memorable hits to Pakistan. She was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s show and shared her journey and how things have evolved over time.
Shafi Muhammad Shah is another legend of Pakistan. He had a long career where he became a part of over 500 dramas and films. He is a veteran who worked in both Urdu and Sindhi languages. He passed away in 2007 and he is still a big name in the world of entertainment.
Talking about how in older times, artists used to respect the producer and directors, Sultana Siddqui revealed that once Shafi Muhammad was delayed for a shoot and after waiting for him, she went and got him banned by the PTV management as she did not believe in wasting time and not respecting deadlines. She said that Shafi sahab apologized to her and PTV hgher ups also asked her to forgive him which she did. She said that there was a factor of respect that is missing nowadays. She said that stars today are totally different simply because they have not gone through those rehearsals, effort and experiences.
