Ishq Murshid is the drama of the season and its massive popularity is going to get its episode released in the cinemas. The Shahmeer/Shibra/Mehreen dynamics is still keeping everyone on their toes and people have a lot to say about how the story has unfolded. Hira Tareen is playing the despised Mehreen in the drama and she made some important revelations in a latest podcast with Rafay Mahmood.
Hira talked about the trolling Mehreen is getting and how she has handled it. She said that she was a bit bothered earlier but then she realized that if people actually started liking Mehreen that would be a bigger problem, so she is okay with it and not concentrating on comments a lot as people who she met her live have all praised her performance.

She also said that she has embraced the way people who cast her see her. She added that she is generally called for characters which are a bit negative but she does not care that she is opposite to them. She has been able to get noticed for the smallest of characters and she is happy with her work.

She also said that Shahmeer and Mehreen are very much alike. They are both rich who will go to any extent to win their love. Initially when Shibra did not love Shahmeer, they were totally in the same circumstances and while Shahmeer was lying, Mehreen was always straight-forward. She said that people will understand Shahmeer more as there is a saviour complex of a rich guy falling for a middle-class girl.
