Ismat Zaidi is a well-known Pakistani actress who has lived a struggling life to make her career bright. She has worked in innumerable TV serials for which she got immense love and respect from fans and viewers. Ismat Zaidi took the start of her career in the early 90s. After 23 years of marriage, Ismat Zaidi’s husband divorced her at the behest of his now, second wife, with whom he stayed in an extra-marital relationship with for two years. The former duo has a son and a daughter together.
Recently Ismat Zaidi appeared in Shan-e-Suhoor. Talking about her divorce Ismat mentioned that “He didn’t informed me after getting married, he called my daughter Rabab and told her about his marriage. We used to live in a joint family and after this incident my in-laws supported me a lot.”
Ismat said that upon finding out about the situation, she had requested her husband to do as he pleases without breaking off their marriage. “I had told him he could marry again and do what he want to but, because our children were growing up, I didn’t want us to get divorced. But the other woman made sure that happened.”
