Faran Tahir is a Hollywood actor who has worked with the best of the best in the world. He has worked in films like Iron Man and Star Trek and has a strong theatre acting background. Faran Tahir is making his Pakistani films debut this Eid ul Adha with the film Umro Ayyar: The Beginning.
Faran Tahir and Usman Mukhtar were guests on FHM Podcast and they spoke about the industry and cinema. Faran Tahir spoke about when he replaced Sanjay Dutt in a Hollywood film. He shared that he was first selected for the role but then they roped in Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay later got into his own troubles and he was taken in to fill in the role in the movie The Jungle Book 1994.

He also spoke about the industry’s obsession with Billywood. He said that we should work like Bollywood does or Hollywood does but we need to bring our own ideas too. He further added that we will never compare our industry to China and Japan so we do not need to compare ourselves to our neighbours either.
