Bol Kaffara is a popular Pakistani song that was released in 2018. The song went viral and broke the records of popularity in India and Pakistan. It was the OST of Nadia Afgan’s directorial drama serial Parlour Wali Larki which aired on Bol Entertainment. Kiran Haq, Janaa Malik, Momina Iqbal were also in the cast of the drama serial Parlour Wali Larki. The brilliant song was sung by Sehar Gul Khan & Shehbaz Fayaz Qawwal. The song was composed by Asim Raza & Soach Band. Lyrics were also written by the ace musician and writer Asim Raza. The popular song has so far garnered more than 134 Million views. The song was also copied by Indian singer Jubin Nutiyal.
Recently, Asim Raza and Sehar Gul appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s show Mind Na Karna. In the show, the singer and composer opened up about the song being copied in India without any permission and credits. They also talked about the success of their song.
Taking about it, Sehar said, “They copied it and didn’t even give us credit”. The composer Asim said, “we can claim but they have copied a lot of our songs. Do you think that morals do exist now?. Sehar Gul said that how would they know that morals do exist.
Talking about Bol Kaffara’s success, Asim Raza said that he knew that his composition will be hit because it was in demand and many other musicians and drama makers wanted his song, a few even wanted Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to sing the song but he wanted new voices so the essence of the melody remains intact, that’s why he preferred Sehar Gul over the popular female singers.
