Ayesha Jahanzeb is an anchor who just went through a huge ordeal in her personal life. She was just on the receiving end of domestic violence from her husband whom she is getting divorced from now. She had to go through a whole media scrutiny alongside what happened and she has taken brave steps as she moves on in her life.
She sat down for a podcast and spoke about gender discrmination, lack of opportunities for women and hypocrisy in society. Ayesha Jahanzeb also talked about how dramas have been propagating that violence and tolerating it is common and many times okay. We are showing how a girl goes for her sister’s husband so easily and things like this are what is festering further acceptance for violence in our society.

Ayesha Jahanzeb also spoke against domestic violence. She said that she cannot ever think that there is any going back after a man raises his hand on you. She added girls in relationships who are not married yet also tolerate abuse and this needs to stop. Once a man raises is hand on you, there is no going back.
