Asad Siddiqui is a part of a big showbiz family. His wife Zara Noor Abbas connects him to the Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas clan while his own uncle Adnan Siddiqui is one of the biggest stars in the country. Zara herself is also an established star while Asad Siddiqui is also a self-made star.
Asad Siddiqui was a guest on Ushna Shah’s show and made some revelations about the industry and actors who are working in Pakistan. He said that actors here do not speak the truth at all. They will be sweet to you and praise you on the face and they will badmouth you behind your back. He, therefore, never hangs out with stars anymore.

He also called out the industry for wrong casting. Asad Siddiqui said that here we cast people who are white or they are someone’s friends. There is no merit sometimes and then it shows on the screens when the project goes on air. He also wants to produce himself in the future to better the situation and he is not opposed to introducing auditioning in the industry to better the casting procedure.
