Anwar Maqsood is a legend of Pakistan. He is a writer, poet and critic and he has given many hits and intellectual pieces to Pakistan. He is loved for his witty humor and love for his country. He is around 80 years old now and he has been serving Pakistan for decades and he has seen all the ups and down this country has gone through.
Recently Anwar Maqsood was a guest speaker at an institute and he made some remarks about the Navy and Armed Forces of Pakistan. He was like always making commentary using his humour which ended up touching a few nerves. The legend got criticism for his remarks and later on news about his alleged abduction or calls from the above started circulating on social media.
Anwar Maqsood was invited to Arts Council Karachi and he clarified the kidnapping news in his appearance. He apologized for his earlier remarks and said that he was not trying to hurt anyone’s sentiments. He also shared that he is here and he respects everyone.
