A long-running dispute between Huawei Technologies Co. and a small U.S.-based contractor has escalated to U.S. federal court, with the contractor alleging Huawei stole its technology and pressured it to build a “back door” into a sensitive law-enforcement project in Pakistan. Large Scale Manufacturing Growth Surges to 16-Year High of 14.85%
The overall output of Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) increased by 14.85 percent for the fiscal year (July-June) 2020-21, compared to the same period (July-June) 2019-20, says Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). According to provisional Quantum Index numbers of Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (QIM), the LSMI output increased by 18.42 percent for June 2021, compared to June 2020, and increased by 4.36 percent, if compared to May 2021.
