ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed while hearing a case remarked that if it is difficult for human beings to live in Sindh then how will the trees survive.

A Supreme Court hearing, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan, a case related to tree planting along rivers and canals was heard.

During the hearing, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that no matter how much funds are spent in Sindh, it is difficult for human beings to live in Sindh.

The Chief Justice said that Sindh is the only province whose affairs are run in different ways. In the name of catching dacoits, the forest was cut down between Larkana and Sukkur. Catching dacoits is much difficult, Sindh police could not even catch a single butterfly.

The court reprimanded the Secretary Forest Sindh and said that the people of Secretary Forest and Irrigation Sindh would go to jail and would also lose their jobs.

The Chief Justice issued contempt notices to those who did not appear in court, including the Sindh Forest Secretary.

Rubya Chaudhry has recently talked about an important matter which is divorce. In our society, there is a stigma attached around divorce and due to this many women are stuck in an abusive marriage.

Rubya Chaudhry tied the knot with musician Meekal Hasan in 2016 and they kept their life private however nobody knew that they got divorced but after a long time, Rubya has opened up about her divorce.

She shared, “I always knew people can be crass and ill-mannered, but there isn’t anything like experiencing it first hand. I don’t even so much as humour these types usually, but in some situations, one just HAS to put their foot down.”

Talking about her marriage and divorce she said, “I got married a few years ago and then got divorced super quickly after. And that’s that really. Never really put my private life up for people to speculate about in the first place, but I don’t blame them for being curious about such matters.”

“Well, now you know. I’d also like to add that divorce doesn’t always mean sadness and death and hayay hayay yeh kya hogya! Hayayyy bachi ki zindagi tabaaah ho gai! It could also mean bachi ki zindagi tabaah honay say BACH gayee. It also means a second chance at love, at life, at all the wonderfully amazing chapters that may have never actualized had you chosen the dead-end as your destiny. Choose to thrive. Choose divorce if it ain’t your scene and stop worrying about all the ill-mannered and crass people around,” she added.

She also shared the reason for writing this note and said, “And I didn’t have to share this. But this is not just about me, it’s about the hundreds of thousands of women who are made to feel like they should be ashamed if their marriages didn’t work out, who are told time and again by their own husbands and in-laws that there’s something wrong with them, that they need to change themselves to fit into some mould of the perfect wife (whatever that is), who’s gaslighted continuously and stripped of their vibrant personalities.”

In the end, she said, “Basically what I’m saying is… Alhamdulillah. Kuch toh log kahain gay, Logon ka kaam hai kehna, Chhoro baykaar ki baaton main, Kaheen beet na jayay raina.”

Punjab Minister for Colonies and prisons Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan has said that Maryam Nawaz is inculcating very detrimental traditions in politics.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan said that Maryam Nawaz while sitting in a glass palace , should avoid throwing stones at others. He said that she should not talk bad about her competitors’ private lives.

The provincial minister condemned the remarks made by Maryam Nawaz during a PDM meeting in Multan regarding the death of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s mother.

Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan termed the remarks of Maryam Nawaz as inappropriate and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not say anything bad about Begum Shamim Akhtar. He further said that what PML-N has done on death of Begum Shamim Akhtar does not need any explanation.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not make any statement about Nawaz Sharif’s mother, Imran Khan built a state-of-the-art hospital just in the love of his mother .

Punjab Minister for Prisons said that if Maryam Nawaz will criticise others ,she will also be dragged into personal attacks.

He said she should avoid targeting personal issues of others. He said by talking against Imran Khan , Maryam has revived her father’s style of politics.
