The KPT 200, as evident by the name, has a 200-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology that makes 18 horsepower and 18 newton-meters of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle has a dry curb weight of 153 kilograms and has a 14-liter fuel tank.
The bike has front and rear disc brakes with an optional Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) technology. Its suspension setup consists of 38-mm inverted forks with adjustable damping on the front and a mono-shock absorber with a spring-preload at the back that allows for a smooth ride on bumpy roads.

The powertrain of the bike features a balancer shaft that cancels out the engine’s vibrations for an even smoother ride. On the top is a digital instrument cluster that displays the driver’s vital information, a powerful halogen headlight, and ergonomics that offer a comfortable sitting posture for long rides.
Reports suggest that the bike will be available in two variants – the Non-ABS and the ABS-equipped, priced at Rs. 499,000 and Rs. 529,000 respectively.
Considering their features and performances, and the fact that they will be sold here as CBUs, the value for money on these bikes is remarkable.
