6 Major Generals of Pakistan Army have been promoted to Lieutenant General, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed.
The promoted officers include Major General Akhtar Nawaz Satti, Major General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat, Major General Asif Ghafoor, Major General Salman Fayyaz Ghani, Major General Sarfraz Ali, and Major General Muhammad Ali.

Major General Akhtar Nawaz Satti, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), belongs to Frontier Force Regiment. He is currently serving as the Vice Chief of General Staff, B (VCGS-B) at GS Branch, GHQ, Rawalpindi.
Major General Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), belongs to Frontier Force Regiment as well. He is currently stationed at ISI Headquarters in Islamabad.
Major General Asif Ghafoor, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), belongs to Artillery Regiment. He is currently serving as General Officer Commanding (GCO) 40 Infantry Division, Okara.
Major General Salman Fayyaz Ghani, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), belongs to Frontier Force Regiment. He is the current Commandant of the School of Infantry and Tactics, Quetta.

Major General Muhammad Ali, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), belongs to Artillery Regiment. He is currently serving as Commandant, Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, Abbottabad.
