As an aftermath of the black man, George Floyd’s killing in Minnesota, and protests taking over the entire USA, social media went out and protested with #BlackoutTuesday, a day that was promoted by activists to observe, mourn and demand a change of policy. The movement spread on social media like wildfire and alongside the entire world, Pakistani celebrities too posted solemn messages featuring stark black backgrounds, tagging the posts #BlackLivesMatter.
