Pakistan has lost another legend today. Tariq Aziz, the country’s first ever anchor and the famous Neelam Ghar host. Tariq Aziz passed away today i.e. Wednesday, in Lahore owing to a cardiac arrest. He was 85 years of age.
According to family sources, Tariq Aziz had been critically ill and admiitted in a private hospital following his illness where he got a cardiac arrest.
Tariq Aziz has always been asset to the Pakistani industry. The entire film and television industry in Pakistan, today, mourns the loss of another legend, Tariq Aziz Sahab. Paying tribute to the departed soul and praying for his soul to rest in peace.

A few faces make us feel as if the time stands still, their presence makes us belief that still we have a connection to our past, they are the reminiscences of timelessness, like moon, sun and fragrances attached to flowers. The legend, the institution, the trendsetter, an era in himself, the poet, the undisputed king of gameshows , the inaugral voice of PTV, Tariq Aziz Sahab was certainly one of them who made us believe that still we have affinity with rapidly blurring hues and fading colours of yesterday. مجھے اپنےماضی میں کچھ لوگ ایسے ملے جو شوبز میں ہوتے ہوئے بھی شوبز میں نہیں تھے، طارق انکل نے مجھے اپنی زندگی کی بہت سی باتیں بتائیں، لاہور کا آنا سڑکوں پر سونا، ریڈیو سے ٹی وی تک کا سفر۔ وہ مجھے اکثر کہتے تھے تم شوبز میں نہیں رہ سکتی۔ شاید وہ ٹھیک تھے، گارڈن ٹائون کا گھر چھوڑنے کے بعد ملاقات نہیں ہوئ۔ میں نے شوبز چھوڑ کر کبھی پرانے لوگوں سے حال نہیں پوچھا۔ کاش میں طارق انکل کا بیماری میں حال پوچھنے چلی جاتی۔ اللہ کب کسی کو لے جائے ہمیں پتہ نہیں چلتا۔ اپنے پیاروں کا خیال رکھیں ۔ انااللہ واناالیہ راجعون اللہ تعالی انکو جنت فردوس میں اعلی مقام دیں
