The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has refuted Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad’s claim that a cloudburst caused flash flooding in the federal capital earlier today. The people of Islamabad woke up to heavy rains on Wednesday that wreaked havoc in the twin cities, forcing the authorities to seek the military’s assistance in rescue efforts. FBR Takes Steps For Ease Of Doing Business and Taxpayers Facilitation

FBR has launched a single identifier number for all domestic taxes. Under this initiative, a taxpayer can use all applications under the Income Tax, Sales Tax and Federal Excise duty by mere use of CNIC if a taxpayer is an individual.
