Pakistan’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) based inflation slowed to 11.8 percent on a year-on-year basis in May 2024 as compared to an increase of 17.3 percent in the previous month and 38 percent in May 2023, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
