Thousands of government officials serving in key positions all over the country are dual nationality holders, a report submitted in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has revealed. According to the report, more than 22,000 government employees hold dual nationalities. 11,000 0ut of 22,000 belong to the different occupational groups of the Central Superior Services (CSS). The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has refused to allow Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to immediately resume its flight operations to the continent despite a go-ahead from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Its Executive Director, Patrick KY wrote to the PIA stating that it will conduct an audit of the operator prior to revoking the suspension. Google is trying to dodge an Australian court ruling by saying that it will be terrible for the internet as a whole. Pakistan-based telemedicine startup, Find My Doctor, announced that it has raised funds in a Pre-Series A round from both TPL e-Ventures, the investment arm of TPL Corp, and TPL Insurance, at a $5 million valuation. The startup plans on opening dark stores, improving its technology, and hiring new talent via the newly acquired funding. More than a dozen oil marketing companies (OMCs) recorded a surge in profit from the tax-free import of petrol from China in the last two years under the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA). According to the documents available with ProPakistani, 15 OMCs availed the duty-free oil import facility under the CPFTA from 1 January 2020 to 1 January 2022. They imported more than 2.4 billion liters of petrol from China and made over Rs. 20 billion.
