Pakistan Fashion Week Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Fashion Pakistan Week 2020 has been postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). The official decision to cancel Fashion week has been announced by Fashion Pakistan Council. The Fashion Pakistan Week is a three-day event and it was scheduled to take place April 9 to April 11 in Karachi. The annual event has been delayed due to the outbreak of coronavirus around the globe. Maheen Khan, the council’s chairperson announced, “At this time of a global pandemic, we will assess the situation later during the year, with regards to the rescheduling of Fashion Pakistan Week 2020. We’ve informed our designers and sponsors who agree with our decision and together we’ll reassess later in the year.” Fashion Pakistan Week (PFW) is a fashion event annually held in Karachi, Pakistan. Coronavirus scare: Cinema halls in Mumbai and neighbouring cities to remain shut

Taking the rapid increase in a number of positive cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra, the state government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has ordered to shut down cinema halls in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Nagpur. These are the cities where most of the cases have been reported. As of now, a total of 18 cases have been reported in the state with 10 cases from Pune, 3 in Mumbai, 1 in Thane and Nagpur each. Earlier today, the Odisha government and Karnataka Government also ordered a complete shutdown of theatres in the state.
