K.G.F. Chapter 2 is in the making and is all set to be bigger than its first chapter. The makers have been spilling some beans on the story with its poster releases and speculations running across have created another level of excitement all across. The makers have finally revealed the release date of the movie and the cinema-goers can already eye- 23rd October 2020.

Excel entertainment took to their social media and shared the news with everyone as they posted,

Coronavirus scare: Cinema halls in Mumbai and neighbouring cities to remain shut

Taking the rapid increase in a number of positive cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra, the state government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has ordered to shut down cinema halls in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Nagpur. These are the cities where most of the cases have been reported.

As of now, a total of 18 cases have been reported in the state with 10 cases from Pune, 3 in Mumbai, 1 in Thane and Nagpur each. Earlier today, the Odisha government and Karnataka Government also ordered a complete shutdown of theatres in the state. On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too announced coronavirus as an epidemic in Delhi and said that schools, malls, and cinema halls will be shut till March 31. The Odisha state government had a cabinet meet today morning and declared COVID19 as a disaster for Odisha to adequately empower public officials to contain the spread of disease. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also ordered the closure of schools and cinema halls in the state.

On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal too announced coronavirus as an epidemic in Delhi and said that schools, malls, and cinema halls will be shut till March 31.
