Early morning on April 30, actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last after a two-year-long battle with leukaemia. His death gutted the entire film industry and his fans. Owing to the lockdown, the actor was given a small funeral in the presence of immediate family members and close friends.
On Monday, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt took to Instagram remembering Rishi Kapoor. He shared a picture with Ranbir and Rishi Kapoor. Remembering the senior Kapoor, he wrote, "One thing that Chintu Sir taught me was to always do things with a smile on our face! It's going to take some time to sink in that Chintu Sir is not with us anymore. He has always been an elder brother to me. Can't believe he is gone!"
On May 3, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima and Neetu Kapoor along with Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji were seen at Banganga to immerse Rishi Kapoor's ashes and perform puja. They were following the protocol of mandatory face masks and gloves as they bid farewell to their beloved.
