Abrar ul Haq is known as the Bhangra king of Pakistan. Coming from a family of bureaucrats, army officers and businessmen, Abrar ul Haq always had a knack for music and pursued a career path never taken by anyone in his family. He ended up becoming one of the most loved Punjabi singers in the subcontinent and no wedding is complete without his songs.
Abrar ul Haq was a guest on Black Box podcast and shared his journey, career and future plans. He also shared a hilarious encounter that he had with Indian singer Yo Yo Honey Singh who has a huge following in Pakistan as well. He revealed that he got a call from his manager who told him that a “woman” named Honey wanted to make a song with him. He refused and moved on. His manager again got a call from Honey and that is when he realized that it was not a woman named Honey but the popular singer Honey Singh.
Abrar ul Haq then spoke to the India singer and they later on made a track together.
