Sohail Ahmed is a seasoned Pakistani actor, comedian and host. He is known for his impactful acting performances in the dramas like Jeevan Nagar, Chaudhry and Sons, Susar in Law and others. He also worked in the hit films like Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2 and London Nahi Jaunga. He is also popularly known as Azizi due to his long running show Hasb E Haal.
Lately, Sohail Ahmed talked about Diljit Dosanjh’s Love and for Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in a media talk. He also shared Diljit Dosanjh’s remarks about Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Talking about it, Sohail Ahmed said, “Whenever I talked about Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in front of Diljit, he would lower his eyes and say, ‘I have never seen an artist like him, I have listened to music from around the world, but I cannot comprehend who he was—he was truly out of this world’. The Indian artists admire our poetry and culture; they say the poetry of Pakistan is unmatched, the old poetry that we used to have in our songs. They love our actors and singers and give respect to our musicians. Why do we believe that a star needs to go international to be recognized in Pakistan? Why can’t we respect our artists when they perform within our own country?
