Saleem Albela recently appeared in Wasi Shah’s show Zabardast where he talked about the tragic loss of his daughter and wife.
Talking about it, Saleem Albela said, “I can’t forget my daughter’s death. It happened when I used to do outdoor shows. Back then, there were no mobile phones, and even landline connections were rare. When I returned home after wrapping up my show from the other city. I couldn’t find my little daughter, Farwa. I asked my mother where she was, and she replied, “We tried to contact you multiple times but couldn’t reach you. Farwa passed away, and we also buried her”
He further added, “Another unforgettable incident was the death of my wife during childbirth. I was performing in a drama when my cousin informed my colleagues, who then told me. It was an incredibly tough time in my life because she left behind four little children”.
