Talking about the commercial success of dramas, Mikaal Zulfiqar said, “I believe that commercial success of projects in the current time is very important because if you are working and it is not becoming a commercial success, then there is no point in doing such work. What would you get from a drama that is only watched by ten people. If you are doing so much hard work then it should be watched by a huge number of audience”. Here is the link to the video:

Talking about Jaisay Apki Marzi’s success, Mikaal Zulfiqar said, “It was my best performance. Although, it was not the nicest character, he was toxic, narcissistic and controlling but it was a very well written character, the scenes were so good. My character was so full of himself. He was superior in his nature. It was fun to play and Saba did a great effort in making it believable. I got a great response from it, I received long messages from female fans who told me that they have been suffering with the same in their lives and their husbands are also like that. It was great to see that people were relating to it but I felt sad for those women.”

Talking about changing Ruswai’s regressive script, he said, “Ruswai’s script was so regressive that we had to change it, in that, the main lead was supposed to slap female lead for ten times and afterwards he had to hit her badly, which we toned down and just filmed with only one slap”.
