Omair Rana is hands down one of the most talented actors in Pakistan. He gets under the skin of every character he takes up and people love to watch him whenever he appears in a drama. He is also a teacher and his background in thatre has provided him with a nuance that many actors lack these days.
Omair Rana was a guest on Mazaq Raat and he spoke about if any of his characters took him over personally while he was performing. He shared that it has happened many times but his role as Mastan Singh in Sang e Mah really affected him and that character pulled him out of a very dark phase of his personal life. Omair Rana even performed Sewa while he was acting as Mastan Singh.

Thus he made him understand that getting into different characters and expressing them on screen and live is what art is for him and that fulfills him. Thus he was able to convince his dad.
