Even though Shehram’s enduring love for his late mother remains an integral part of his life, it does not hinder him from genuinely acknowledging Kishwar as his stepmother. Murad’s heightened focus on Shehram might have influenced his character, while Kishwar’s role as the primary caregiver to the other two sons likely played a pivotal role in shaping their traits.

Besides her father’s economic and social standing, there are no additional elements that clarify why he was willing to marry off his daughter to a family that consistently demonstrated they were not deserving of such a connection.
