District administrations of Sialkot and Lahore carried out raids after Tiger Force volunteers pointed out different shops and warehouses involved in artificial inflation and hoarding.
According to details, different teams of district administrations of both cities seized massive stocks of sugar, rice, and flour stocked illegally from the warehouses and sealed a large number of shops for illicit profiteering.

Besides impounding the essential food items and sealing the shops and warehouses, both district administrations imposed heavy fines on the hoarders and illegal profiteers and lodged FIRs to initiate legal proceedings against them.
Last week, Prime Minister Imran Khan, during a meeting held at Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad, had formally tasked Tiger Force volunteers to keep an eye on the prices and identify hoarding of essential commodities in their localities.

Portable camping trailers might just become a new ‘in thing’ in Pakistan soon, as a resident of Pakistan, Mansoor Mustafa, seeks to start this new trend by introducing the first-ever Pakistan-made “teardrop” portable camping trailer to the masses.
The trailer was revealed to the people via a Youtube channel known as Survival Man. The maker of the trailer, Mansoor Mustafa, told that the trailer is made from scratch, using MDF sheets that have been bonded together using epoxy glue.

The exterior also features a special black epoxy body paint, some aluminum trim at the bottom, mud-guards that are also made up of aluminum, and a storage box made of iron at the front. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will no longer officiate allowances of its cabin crew from November 1.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the General Manager Flight Services, Aamir Bashir. According to it, all officiated assignments to the cabin crew will be canceled starting next month.
It is notified that all officiated assignments allotted to cabin crew e.g Flight Purser to Senior Purser, Sr. Flight Steward/ Air hostess to Flight Purser will be revoked from November 2020.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered a ban on polythene bags across the province. The ban will be effective for fruit/vegetable vendors, milk shops, and grocery stores across the province.
Justice Shahid Karim of the LHC issued these directives while hearing a constitutional petition filed by Abuzar Salman Khan.

Justice Karim asked the Environment Protection Department to implement the order across the province without any discrimination and submit a compliance report at the next hearing.
The move came a month after the high court banned polythene bags at Motorways.
On September 24, the court had ordered that the use of plastic bags should not be seen at restaurants, food shops, and tuck shops at and around motorways.
