The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is reportedly investigating a couple for public display of affection on an Islamabad-bound AirBlue flight from Karachi.
The CAA was also informed that despite repeated requests from fellow passengers, the couple refused to stop. When an air hostess intervened, the couple simply refused to comply, and retorted, “Who are you to tell us anything?”

News about the incident onboard the AirBlue carrier spread like wildfire on social media, and netizens raged against the CAA.
a man hitting his wife on an airblue flight would have been met w averted eyes, shushing, ‘ye unke apas ka maamla hai’, cz it’s completely OK and normal for impressionable kids to see women being treated like property as opposed to actual human beings worthy of love and affection

While public displays of affection are generally frowned upon in most societies, a few netizens pointed out that the complainant behind this investigation is either “just a jealous lawyer”, or doesn’t know “how nature works when it comes to loving someone”.
Congrats to the dude who ‘exposed’ the kissing couple on Airblue. You won the award for saddest man in Pakistan this week! (Ansar Abbasi will be jealous!)
